The sport of polo traces its origins back over two thousand years. Modernized in the nineteenth century, it eventually crossed the Atlantic and took root across the United States. A fast-paced game of horsemanship, teamwork and precision that has captured players and spectators alike for generations.
The New Orleans Polo Club has called Folsom home for more than five decades. Set among the horse country of southeast Louisiana, the club has become the heart of the sport in the state, welcoming players and spectators from across the region and beyond.
Today, the New Orleans Polo Club is the only active USPA-recognized polo club in the state. A distinction we hold with pride and responsibility to the sport's future in South Louisiana.
With a strong heritage of enthusiastic membership and public support, the New Orleans Polo Club looks forward to continuing its legacy, promoting the sport of polo to residents of Louisiana and beyond.
